The Carrera GTS holds a special place in the 911 lineage, offering the perfect blend of performance, everyday usability, and exclusivity. Introduced in 2010 as the ultimate naturally aspirated version of the 997.2 generation, the GTS bridges the gap between the standard Carrera S and the more hardcore GT3. With its widened rear haunches, centre-lock wheels, and subtle design tweaks, it carries a more aggressive stance while maintaining the timeless elegance of the 911 silhouette.

Under the rear decklid lies a 3.8-litre flat-six, pushing out 408 horsepower—23 more than the Carrera S—thanks to a revised intake system and other performance tweaks. Buyers had the choice between a six-speed manual or a seven-speed PDK transmission as featured here, both delivering exhilarating performance and a 0-100 km/h time of just over four seconds in the right configuration. The GTS also benefitted from Porsche’s Sports Chrono Package, PASM adaptive suspension, and a sports exhaust as standard, making it a more engaging and rewarding drive.
