A great example of a modern-day automotive icon and certainly a future classic, if not already one!
The aluminium-bodied SLS AMG, which stands for Super Light Sport and is the spiritual successor to the iconic 300SL Gullwing, was designed to be a true sports car with true sports car driving dynamics.
The SLS was the first Mercedes-Benz built entirely by AMG with the assistance of then-F1 driver David Coulthard.
Although it was introduced at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor show, the public did not see what the SLS AMG could do on a race track until it was named the official Formula 1 safety car for the 2010 season.
In race trim, the SLS AMG GT3 achieved great success in GT competitions around the world, including winning the Dubai 24 Hours.
Off the circuits, the SLS AMG also won a number of design awards, including the 2010 Red Dot “Best of The Best” award and Auto Bild Design Award’s “Europe’s Most Attractive Car”.
This pristine example is beautifully finished in AMG’s Monza Grey Magno over dual-tone red and black leather. Extensive carbon fibre trim complements the interior, including a new steering wheel in carbon fibre and Alcantara. Modern personal device connectivity brings the entire package up to date.
