The Ferrari 360 marked an important turning point for Maranello’s mid-engined V8 lineage. Replacing the F355, it introduced an all-aluminium space-frame chassis and a more contemporary design language, while retaining the naturally aspirated V8 character that defined this era of Ferrari.

The 360 Spider brought another dimension to the formula, pairing its mid-mounted 3.6-litre V8 with an electrically operated soft top and the theatre of open-air motoring. With the roof lowered, the sound and character of the V8 become an even greater part of the experience.

Presented in the quintessential Ferrari combination of Rosso Corsa over Nero, this particular example has been maintained to an exceptional standard by its fastidious owner. Considerable work has been undertaken over the years, including a full engine rebuild, a complete suspension rebuild and an overhaul of the convertible top. More recent attention includes a top overhaul, engine decarbonisation, ECU refresh, replacement cooling hoses, fasteners and other sundry items.

The result is a particularly well-sorted 360 Spider that has benefited from substantial attention both cosmetically and mechanically. With the extent of work undertaken and the fastidious care it has received, this is quite possibly the best 360 Spider in town, and an increasingly compelling example of Ferrari’s naturally aspirated V8 era.
