A genuinely rare find, this German-built 1961 Volkswagen Split Window Kombi has undergone a complete nut-and-bolt restoration in South Africa before being imported into Singapore in its original body. Finished in fresh paintwork with a completely renewed interior, it retains the unmistakable character that has made the early Kombi such an enduring icon.

An upgraded 1.6-litre air-cooled engine with twin Dell’Orto carburettors provides a welcome step up in performance, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The suspension and braking system have also been renewed as part of the restoration.

Its defining split windscreen is complemented by factory-optional Safari pop-out front windows, while sports rims add a subtle contemporary touch to its classic appearance.
