The Porsche 993 is the last iteration of the air-cooled 911, produced from 1993 to 1998. The air-cooled 911 had been in production for over 30 years, and the 993 represented the culmination of all the advancements and refinements made over that time.
The 993 was significant because it was the first 911 to feature a redesigned suspension system incorporating coil springs and shock absorbers. This allowed for a smoother ride and better handling, particularly at high speeds. The 993 was also the first 911 to feature an all-new aluminium subframe, which helped to reduce weight and improve overall performance.
This unit features the cabriolet body style and is finished in the popular yet timeless Polar Silver over an interior in Terracotta. This rare example will take pride in any Porschephile’s garage and will only appreciate in value!
