Enquiry About The Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Tipronic

The Porsche 911 Carrera 2, internally codenamed “964”, is regarded by many as the ideal “classic” air-cooled 911. Maintaining the upright headlights of the G-series cars, yet incorporating modern features like power steering and a modern air-conditioning system, the “964” was also the first 911 to offer a proper automatic transmission.  In fact, Porsche claims the “964” is 85% new when compared to its predecessor, the Carrera 3.2.

Though manual gearboxes are still the coveted transmission option amongst enthusiasts, there is no denying the practicality of an automatic gearbox for city driving. Coupled with the compact footprint and superb outward visibility of an early 911, the “964” is indeed the ideal everyday classic sports car.

This stunning example has been professionally resprayed in its original Amazonasgruen (Amazon Green) and still features its original leather and carpets, which are in impeccable condition. It has undergone a complete no-expense-spared professional restoration and comes with full documentation and receipts. The entire car is rebuilt to factory specifications bar the suspension and wheels. (The original steering wheel will accompany the sale.)   The car rides on KW V3 coilovers for better handling and ride quality,  and ensures it stays right up there with much more modern machinery when the driving gets spirited!
