Enquiry About The Ferrari 365 GT4 BB

The Ferrari 365 GT4 BB represents a turning point in Maranello’s story. When it debuted in 1973, it marked Ferrari’s bold transition from the front-engined 12-cylinder tradition of the Daytona to a new generation of mid-engined supercars.

Designed by Pininfarina and hand-built by Scaglietti, the 365 GT4 BB was a product of its time yet far ahead of it. The sharp wedge profile, pop-up headlights, and clean horizontal lines embodied the 1970s Italian design language, while its compact proportions spoke to a machine designed with intent: to bring Ferrari’s Formula 1 technology to the road.

At its heart lies a 4.4-litre 180° flat-12 engine, derived directly from Ferrari’s racing programme. While often referred to as a “Boxer,” it is technically a flat-12 with opposing pistons sharing crank pins — an arrangement chosen for its low centre of gravity and packaging advantages. With an official output of 380 hp, the 365 GT4 BB delivered both brutal performance and a uniquely smooth character, setting it apart from its contemporaries.

Exclusivity is a hallmark of this model. Only 387 examples were produced worldwide, and just 88 were built in right-hand drive — making it one of the rarest road-going V12 Ferraris of all time. Few markets saw official deliveries, and today, surviving examples are fiercely protected by collectors.

This particular car is finished in a classic Ferrari red over black leather with Daytona-style seats. Accident free and the only Berlinetta Boxer of any kind in Singapore, it carries a distinction that places it in a class of its own. For the discerning collector, it represents a chance to own not just a Ferrari, but a pivotal chapter in Ferrari’s evolution: the moment the marque redefined what a flagship could be.

The 365 GT4 BB is more than a classic. It is the car that bridged the past and the future — Ferrari’s last pure 1970s supercar, and the foundation upon which the legendary Berlinetta Boxer and Testarossa lineage was built.
