The Ferrari California represented a significant change of direction for Maranello when it arrived in 2008. It was Ferrari’s first front-engined V8 road car, its first model with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and the first Prancing Horse to feature a fully retractable folding metal roof. Together with its 2+2 layout, these innovations gave the California a level of versatility previously unseen in a Ferrari.

Its naturally aspirated V8 and rear-wheel-drive chassis retain the character expected of the marque, while the retractable hardtop allows it to transition from a refined coupé to an open-top grand tourer.

This example is finished in Rosso Scuderia over Cuoio, with Daytona-style seats and red contrast stitching. It has been with its current owner since 2015 and presents in very well-kept condition, with a carefully chosen specification that complements the California’s dual-purpose character.
